Car arrived early for our private excursion .
Tickets etc all quickly dealt with at harbour. We had a big dhow with mv safoo.
Mohammed and friends looked after us brilliantly especially pulling my wife around the coral area as she s not such great swimmer.
We saw dolphins
Had two snorkeling sessions on the reef.
So many fish it was amazing .
Grouper , stone fish , turtle and shoals of all kinds.
I would go again at the drop of a hat and I ve snorkelled all around the world inckuding the barrier reef Egypt maldives Thailand , and it was an excellent experience well led by the mv safoo team.
Lunch was beautiful and fresh and arrived by boat including lobster (2,000shillingx extra but worth it)

Tsavo East/Tahita Hills safari/Wasini island tour Amazing! This is a must-do experience and Marco was at our disposal while choosing which was the best option for us for the safari. We went with Michael and he was very nice! Maybe we would have liked to have more information during the safari about the animals and nature but he was alone and he tried really hard to let us view all the animals so we are really thankful! Probably we weren't very lucky because we didn't see all of the animals present on the parks but still it is an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend Marco Polo Safaris. The jeep was super comfortable (which is important), the lodges very nice as well as the views there 🤩
I would also suggest the Wasini island tour if you are staying at Diani beach. They showed us a poor village on the island and we saw the dolphins, therefore a nice day at sea while also getting to learn more about the local reality.

6 days safari experience We had 6 days safari, it was amazing experience, we managed to see the great migration, everything was well-prepared and well-organized:)

We did an 8 day safari going through Masi Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli and Tsavo East. We were picked up from Nairobi airport and then started the Safari, ending on the coast at Diani Beach where we spend a few nights before flying back to Nairobi.
We booked with Marco via their website and confirmed all the details over email and whatsapp. Marco was very helpful and answered all our questions (we also requested a cycle trip at Hells Gate which Marco arranged for us). We paid a 50% deposit by bank transfer and the balance was paid to the driver at the start of the safari in USD cash. The reason for the cash payment is because it is needed to pay the park and lodge fees (this is normal practice).
The safari itself was amazing, we travelled and did the game drives in a large jeep where the roof can be risen allowing you to stand up and get a 360 view of all the animals around you. We saw the big five and many many more animals.
Our driver was called Michael and was wonderful. He was incredibly knowledgeable about all the animals, parks and landscapes. He is also well connected with the other game drivers and they work together to find the animals so you have the best chance of seeing them. We visited 5 different parks which meant a lot of different terrains and weather conditions, Michael knew all the parks well (which is not very common as most drivers only go to 1 or 2 parks). He is also a skilled driver in terms of managing the different weather conditions so we always felt very safe.
The accommodation Marco arranged was all very nice and luxurious (mainly tented camps and lodges), we felt very spoilt!
We went go to Diani Beach Marco also helped us with arranging a snorkeling trip.
I cannot recommend Marco and Michael enough, our safari trip was perfectly organised and such an amazing experience.

Best days ever The 6 days safari we spent with Michael Kimeu was one of the best experiences in our Lives. Michale is the best driver and guide I have ever met with such beautiful personality, great experience and knowledge about Kenya.

Our guide, Michael, was very friendly, highly professional and went out of his way to make our visit one to remember. We travelled to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara and each location/associated accommodation was fantastic (we were also lucky enough to see all of the Big Five!).
