Would definitely recommend After much research into the many safari tours, we went with Marco Polo who offered a perfect 2 day safari to Tsavo East and Taita Hills at a very good cost. Marco Polo also had multiple 5* reviews which filled me with confidence. We were not disappointed and I would definitely recommend Marco Polo.
The safari was as described and our driver, Boniface, made a real effort to go out of his way to give us the best experience he could. We saw loads of animals and birds. Boniface was very knowledgeable and could spot animals even when they were well hidden! He gave us plenty of time to watch and take photos and never felt rushed at all.
The vehicle was very comfortable and provided plenty of space for all our things.
I would 100% recommend Marco Polo and would go with them again without hesitation in future. Thanks again Boniface and Marco 🙂

We had an 11 day safari with Marco Polo safaris and it was the best experience. I enquired with many companies before travelling and Marco was great at replying and giving advice on the best way to do such a long safari which included an internal flight and a hot air balloon trip. There is always a worry about making payments in advance but that's where trust is essential and I would not hesitate to use Marco again or to recommend him and his company to anyone. He even booked and arranged our hotel at Diani beach which saved us time and effort.

We had 2 drivers for our Safari. Michaeal Kimeu took us on the first half and he was just the best. Michael was a careful and considerate driver, had a great, genuine personality and did everything he could to get us to see the animals. Boniface (Bonnie) was our second driver and he was equally good. He took us to all the beautiful spots and managed to get us to see some amazing sites of lions straight after a kill (not for the faint hearted!).

As I said before, I would definitely recommend Marco Polo safaris and I hope you get to see all of the things we saw plus more.

Unforgettable Safari experience thanks to Mathias!! Marco from Marco Polo Safari helped us book an amazing safari experience to Tsavo Park East, we got a private car for the 3 of us at a great price. I cannot say enough about our amazing tour guide Mathias, it would have been an incredible experience regardless, but he took it to the next level. Very kind, friendly, treated us like family and was extremely knowledgeable! He shared a lot of information about Kenya, history, geography, current events, nature . And a true expert on all things in Tsavo Park! With decades of experience, he knew all the animal hotspots, He showed us the big five and more!! Car was very comfortable, and the camp we stayed in was absolutely beautiful. At the end of the trip he offered to take us to a Maasai village, where we got a tour of their homes, village, and were treated to a traditional dance. On my next trip to Diani, we will be using Marco Polo to book more excursions and personally requesting Mathias to get some time with this incredible man!! Amazing Safari and great memories! Amazing Safari experience. Our driver Abdul was really great at spotting animals from far away in every park we went. He also is very knowledgeable as he explained us many things during our trip. We do more than 50 animals, including black rhino with his baby. That one was a great memory! Marco Polo booked for us all the accommodations. Food and rooms were great. I would definitely recommend to plan your visit to Kenya with them.
