Asante Sana We went on a 5-day safari in Kenya with Marcopolo Safari. From beginning to end, everything was perfect! We booked months in advance, and everything worked out smoothly. They always responded to us promptly and precisely.

We did the safari with our driver Michael – the kindest, warmest person ever! We had an incredible five days, always felt safe, stayed in great accommodations, and had the best time of our lives! Michael is simply the best, and one day we’ll come back and go on another safari with him!

Pack extra water for the “all inclusive resort” Our safari guide was fantastic- so knowledgeable and did a great job of keeping our kids engaged in the safari in the (very few) moments when we weren’t seeing any animals. He also made sure we had lots of cold bottled water, which was especially appreciated because the “all-inclusive” accommodations we stayed at only gave us 1.5 L of drinking/potable water for our family of 4 for the day and wanted to charge us extra for any additional water. Our accommodation was otherwise good- delicious food, clean/comfy beds, a small swimming pool to splash in, and lots of wildlife nearby/in the resort to admire. Overall a great trip and we would definitely book with Marco Polo Safaris again!

Tsavo East/Tahita Hills safari/Wasini island tour Amazing! This is a must-do experience and Marco was at our disposal while choosing which was the best option for us for the safari. We went with Michael and he was very nice! Maybe we would have liked to have more information during the safari about the animals and nature but he was alone and he tried really hard to let us view all the animals so we are really thankful! Probably we weren't very lucky because we didn't see all of the animals present on the parks but still it is an amazing experience and I would definitely recommend Marco Polo Safaris. The jeep was super comfortable (which is important), the lodges very nice as well as the views there 🤩
I would also suggest the Wasini island tour if you are staying at Diani beach. They showed us a poor village on the island and we saw the dolphins, therefore a nice day at sea while also getting to learn more about the local reality.

I remember he was searching for the lions to show us since he was told that there had been lions nearby in the morning. And we found!!!! Firstly, Marco is professional, and friendly and can recommend trips you would like to have.For the day we booked a safari no one else had booked before. We appreciate very much that Marco did not cancel or postpone the trip, instead, he gave the car and a driver just for the 2 of us, whereas we had an agreement. On safari, so much depends on the driver. We were lucky to get the best one who was very attentive. Fantastic safari From the moment we contacted Marco we were impressed with everything. Contact was easy and he tailor made our 3 night safari in Amboseli, Tsavo West and East. The lodges chosen were great and I will write separate reviews on them. He changed the lodge on the last night as the recent reviews of the original lodge on the last night had not been good. Abdul our guide was brilliant collecting us on time from our hotel in Nairobi and driving us to Amboseli for the first day. He was a great guide, pointing out animals that we could not have seen without his expertise. We then went on to Tsavo and the whole time, he was very informative about life in Kenya and the animals. We were dropped at our hotel in Diani at the end. Would definitely recommend Marco Polo and Abdul. We felt the safari was very good value.
