Amazing Safari- Tsavo East We recently returned from our wonderful holiday in Kenya. While staying at Diani beach, we booked a 2 night / 3 day safari with Marco at Marco Polo Safaris who was very helpful. It was amazing and we were looked after by Michael who was fantastic during our safari.
From the first moment our family was in super capable and professional hands with Michale going out of his way to accommodate what we wanted to get from our short safari. We traveled to Tsavo East and stayed at the Ashnil Aruba Lodge.
We knew the risk of going during the wet season and Michael went out of his way to ensure we saw as much as possible. He has an amazing ability to spot wildlife and managed to give us the opportunity to see everything we wanted to see.
Michael really looked after us, has a super professional yet relaxed and accommodating approach and is a very safe driver.
We went with our two children (11 & 13) and honestly it was a trip that will be remembered by our family as an incredible experience forever. Should we ever return to Kenya and look to do a safari again in future we would 100% want Michael to take us out again. Our thanks to Michael and Marco!

Wir haben die Safari Tour zwei Monate vor unserer Reise nach Kenia online gebucht. Die Empfehlung für Marco Polo Safaris erhielten wir von unserem Strandhotel in Diani Beach. Die Kommunikation per E-Mail war schnell, kompetent und freundlich.

Am ersten Tag wurden wir morgens pünktlich am Hotel von unserem Guide Amos abgeholt. Ab diesem Zeitpunkt mussten wir uns um nichts mehr selbst kümmern, da die komplette Reise (Fahrt, Stopps, Einfahrt in die Parks, Check-In Unterkünfte) super organisiert war. Es gab zwar eine kurze Unstimmigkeit bezüglich des Umrechnungskurses von USD in EUR, diese konnte aber sofort telefonisch geklärt werden.

Unsere Reise war von Anfang bis Ende gefüllt mit vielen einmaligen, wunderschönen Momenten.
Den größten Beitrag dazu leistete unser Fahrer & Guide Amos, weshalb wir uns von Herzen bei ihm für die unvergessliche Zeit bedanken möchten. Er ist ein warmherziger, respektvoller Mensch, ein sicherer und erfahrener Guide, in dessen Anwesenheit wir uns jederzeit wohlgefühlt haben. Seinen Job als Guide macht er super, da er neben seinem Gespür und Blick für die Tiere, auch viel Wissenswertes über das Land und die Kultur teilt. Er geht dabei zu 100% auf seine Gäste ein und gibt alles, um deren Wünsche bestmöglich zu erfüllen - ohne ihn hätten wir definitiv nicht so viel erlebt & gesehen.

Wir würden jederzeit wieder eine Safari Tour über Marco Polo buchen und nach Amos fragen - Hallelujah!

We had an 11 day safari with Marco Polo safaris and it was the best experience. I enquired with many companies before travelling and Marco was great at replying and giving advice on the best way to do such a long safari which included an internal flight and a hot air balloon trip. There is always a worry about making payments in advance but that's where trust is essential and I would not hesitate to use Marco again or to recommend him and his company to anyone. He even booked and arranged our hotel at Diani beach which saved us time and effort. We had 2 drivers for our Safari. Michaeal Kimeu took us on the first half and he was just the best. Michael was a careful and considerate driver, had a great, genuine personality and did everything he could to get us to see the animals. Boniface (Bonnie) was our second driver and he was equally good. He took us to all the beautiful spots and managed to get us to see some amazing sites of lions straight after a kill (not for the faint hearted!). As I said before, I would definitely recommend Marco Polo safaris and I hope you get to see all of the things we saw plus more.

Unforgettable experience We booked a 3-day safari to Tsavo East and Amboseli with Marco and had an incredible time.
We became really good friends with our guide Boni. He put in a lot of effort and made sure, that we could see as many animals as possible. Boni has a lot of experience as well as a lot of knowledge and can tell you basically everything about the animals and their behaviour. Also, he gave us a lot of background information about Kenyan culture. We will never forget this incredible experience.
