The Best Safari! We had an 11 day safari with Marco Polo safaris and it was the best experience. I enquired with many companies before travelling and Marco was great at replying and giving advice on the best way to do such a long safari which included an internal flight and a hot air balloon trip. There is always a worry about making payments in advance but that's where trust is essential and I would not hesitate to use Marco again or to recommend him and his company to anyone. He even booked and arranged our hotel at Diani beach which saved us time and effort.

We had 2 drivers for our Safari. Michaeal Kimeu took us on the first half and he was just the best. Michael was a careful and considerate driver, had a great, genuine personality and did everything he could to get us to see the animals. Boniface (Bonnie) was our second driver and he was equally good. He took us to all the beautiful spots and managed to get us to see some amazing sites of lions straight after a kill (not for the faint hearted!).

As I said before, I would definitely recommend Marco Polo safaris and I hope you get to see all of the things we saw plus more.

Good safari expérience as a woman solo traveller As a solo french woman, I went on safari at the beginning of January with Marco Polo Safari in front of my Neptune hôtel.
About my experience :
Elijah was a super driver with good interactions and easy to talk , also safe drive and protective, I really appreciate having him as a guide.
For the safari, at least its a lottery and unfortunelly it wasnt full of animals like I could expect but it was ok. I understand that's the game and I m already feel lucky and grateful to saw éléphants, buffalos, girafes, zebras, and quickly quickly one lion. 😁 Good experience !

Kenya Safari Having just returned from a week safari in Kenya, my wife and I would highly recommend Marco Polo Safaris. Marco was a pleasure to deal with throughout and ensured that the process from booking to arrival to departure was seamless. Our guide, Michael, was very friendly, highly professional and went out of his way to make our visit one to remember. We travelled to Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara and each location/associated accommodation was fantastic (we were also lucky enough to see all of the Big Five!). amazing trip to tsavo east and wasini island We booked a trip to Wasini Island snorkelling and a day Safari through Marco Polo.
Both were absolutely incredible. the Wasini trip was amazing, we saw so many dolphins in the wild and the boat crew were amazing. plenty of water and an incredible meal on the island was included in the price. the snorkelling was amazing, saw so many fish and a health coral reef. the water was crystal clear and really warm. the boat crew split into confident swimmers and those than needed a little more support. life jackets and rings were available. they sang a great song with lots of music and fun on the way back.
the safari with our driver Michael was amazing. we only had a day free for the safari, but it was incredible none the less. we would have loved to do more, but the day trip was amazing. we saw four of the big five and so many other animals. Michael was really knowledgeable and friendly and helped us take the best pictures for our memories. the jeep he used was great and his driving was super safe. we loved the day and would recommend to anyone!! we haven't stopped talking about bother trips since our return to the UK.
overall, do not hesitate to book with Marco Polo. we were recommended him by our air BnB host and we are so glad we went with him, he made the whole process super smooth and checked in with us after the trip

Unforgettable 3 Days with Great Organization and Professionalism We went on a 3-day safari to Tsavo East and Taita Hills with Marco Polo Safaris, and everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. Communication with Marco before the trip was fast and clear – he helped us arrange the dates and payment, and everything went smoothly.

Our guide Amos was experienced, friendly, and an excellent driver. We saw so many animals – elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, antelopes, buffalos etc. – and the stay at Saltlick Lodge was absolutely breathtaking.
